Client Service Coordinators
The Client Service Coordinators Department at L & D work one on one with Recipients/Families, and Support Coordinators to monitor services, and secure family satisfaction. Client Service Coordinators create a service plan and evacuation plan designed to meet the individual needs of the recipient. Home visits and periodic contacts are made every quarter or as needed.
Staffing Supervisors
The Staffing Supervisors Department at L & D work diligently to secure staff in the recipient's homes. This department was created to screen staff according to recipient's needs and select the best possible candidate for each individual recipient and their family.
Personnel
The Personnel Department screens all potential employees before hiring. State regulations mandate that applicants be current in First Aid, have continuing education annually, current automobile insurance and registration, undergo a criminal background check, L&D checks the National Sex Offender Registry, random drug screening and physical.
The Personnel Department maintains current employee records and updates according to state regulations. Any client who receives medications (according to CPOC) must take the Medication Training Course before they can administer any medication. A physician's order must be signed.
Billing/Payroll
The Billing and Payroll Departments together manage the agency's finances, and distributes payroll checks on a bi-weekly basis.
Clinical
The Clinical Department does the nursing assessments on each recipient, teaches the medication training class and teaches first aid.
